With more than 250 km of perfectly marked and groomed hiking trails, from challenging tours for experienced mountaineers and adventure hikes on former smuggler routes to trips along colourful, lush meadows and small refreshing ponds on nearby Alps, Samnaun has something to offer to everyone and fulfils everyone’s hiking wishes.
With a free cableway ride and different lifts, you can go on hikes or trips up to Ischgl.

AlpenPark – Piz for Kidz: The adventure playground is situated directly on the valley hiking trail near the Clis da Ravaisch sports complex. It can be used all year round and is designed for children and the persons accompanying them. The Samnaun mountains are the topic of the alpine park. The mountains (Piz Ot, Muttler and other local summits) are integrated on the playground in different forms (climbing wall, slide, sandbox, swings, obstacle course, and many more).

The adventure trail

The adventure trail of young marmots Murmina and Murmin – illuminated at night! Murmin’s family has not yet woken up from their hibernation. Together with his friend Murmina, he sets off to find the healing magic herb. Rudolf Mirer and Silvio Lebrument’s storybook was turned into an interactive adventure trail for young and old. You can listen to a chapter of the story at each of the 10 adventure stations or climb the owl tree or the giant antlers, or fly with the eagle to the marmot burrow. The storybook trail is also open in the winter!

Mountain biking

Discover the fantastic Samnaun mountains by riding a mountain bike. On simply beautiful to really challenging routes and trails marked according to their difficulty level.The Samnaun cable car will transport your bike up the mountain for free. Our hotel will grant you access to a parking area for your mountain bike, a workshop and wash station are also available for small repairs and cleaning. Including free access to our spa for relaxation.

Motorcycle

The Grisons is the “land with the most passes in the world”! 150 valleys, 615 lakes and 937 summits shape the landscape of the Grisons. Our hotel offers bikers free parking in the underground car park, and a workshop is also available for small repairs. Wet clothes can be dried overnight. And free access to our relaxing spa is included.

Disc golf is a game with a frisbee. The aim of disc golf is to hit the target basket with the Frisbee from the tee with as few throws as possible. The disc golf facility in Samnaun Dorf consists of 18 lanes. The player with the fewest throws wins. The disc golf course is on the site of the Vitaparcours in Samnaun Dorf. The facility is freely accessible, the area with trees is attractive for the game.
A round of disc golf takes around 90 minutes, depending on the number of players. The course can be shortened, in the short round with 12 lanes, lanes 1 to 6 and 13 to 18 are played.
Frisbees, result sheets and an overview are available free of charge at reception.
